Somerset Bridge
Did you know Bermuda is home to the smallest drawbridge in the world? Somerset Bridge is
only 32 inches wide – just enough space for the mast of a sailboat to go through. It was built in
1850 to connect Somerset Island to the main island. The bridge is so small it can be opened by
hand. There’s a pretty little park here with benches where you can sit and enjoy the views.
