Mausoleum
This final resting place of Ferdinand ll doesn’t look like it was designed by Austrians and it wasn’t. It’s Italian all the way, a little gaudy and garish, but its designers got paid to impress and they accomplished this goal in spades. The various colored marble used in a mix and match style is especially eye-catching. The building is also right next door to the impressive Graz Cathedral with its moving, delicate, faded frescos that whisper to you from the past.
